[Suddenly, Fulbright finds a bunch of yellow flowers with a red and pink one mixed in. Attached to it is a small letter.]

Dear Detective Fulbright,

I don't know why but I can't stop thinking about you. And every time I do, my heart leaps for joy. I realise it's emotionless but every time you smile, it's like Ponco is leaping for joy when I fixed her. I just feel so happy!

I don't know what to do with myself. I know what you did to my mother, Simon and Apollo but even so, I can't help but feel like we should be together forever!

I feel terrible but I can't sit there and do nothing about these feelings! So please tell me if you love me too.

[There is a package in red and blue wrapping paper under the Christmas tree, very neatly and painstakingly wrapped on the day itself, since Hisami had just recently regained her sight. Unfortunately, since she lost valuable knitting time upon going blind, Hisami decided to just swing by a shop as early as possible and purchase three pairs of socks in various colors. She includes a mystery thriller novel (with a happy, justice-filled ending, of course) in the package. On the card is a neatly written message.

So Fulbright will find in a box a decent quality digital watch. It's one that is water resistant and pretty durable so even Fulbright will have some trouble breaking it. It says nothing more than it being from Simon and Taka because he knows Fulbright will understand that it is a reference to his screwup during Juniper Woods' trial.]
